Abstract

A bidet device able to be pivoted in the horizontal plane comprises an arm 1, which is connected by means of a rotary joint 3 to a fixture 2. The fixture has a gripping member 19 matched to the cross section of the beam on which the bidet device is mounted in such a way that it can be raised and lowered. The arm supports an upright 5 for a water fitting 6 in the direct vicinity of the rotary joint. At its outer free end 7, the arm is provided with a clevis 8 for a shower nozzle 9. Between the upright and the clevis, the arm supports a bowl 4, the drain 10 of which emerges on the bottom side of the arm. The drain as well as the fitting are connected to flexible hoses. <IMAGE>
