Abstract
The invention relates to an arrangement for checking the tightness of a sealed test object and measuring medium leaking through, comprising a pressure-medium source T and a connection 1 to the test object, the tightness of which is to be tested. The novelty resides in the fact that what is known as a mass-flow meter 7 is used as the active indicating and measuring member, a filling line 3, 3'' provided with a shut-off valve 8 and intended for supplying medium under pressure to the test object is connected between the pressure-medium source T and the test object A, a further line 3, 3' is arranged between the pressure-medium source T and the test object A, in which line the mass-flow meter 7 and a shut-off valve 10 are connected. When leak- testing the filled, pressurized and closed test object A, the connection between the pressure source T and the test object A via the mass-flow meter 3, 3', 7, 1 is opened so that the latter senses and registers any additional flow of pressure medium caused by leakage in the test object A. <IMAGE>
