Abstract

The present invention concerns a tool which can be arranged on a digger bucket 2 for creating one or more tracks 8 in the flat bottom 15 of a trench, ditch or the like, for example a deep ditch with a flat bottom made by the digger bucket 2 with the aid of directional equipment such as a laser beam for obtaining the flat bottom. According to the invention, a slide plate 1 is provided with one or more downwardly sloping and forwardly directed digging elements 3 which can be arranged on the digger bucket 2 and which leave tracks behind them as the slide plate is advanced across the bottom of the trench, ditch, etc. <IMAGE>
