Abstract

The present invention intends to produce an effective and operationally inexpensive drying house, in particular for drying hay. This drying house 1 is characterized in that its drying space 4 is provided with an air-permeable floor in the form of a grating 4' and in that there is also a space 6 below in order to allow air to flow through from the bottom/upwards. The drying space 4 and the space 6 have hatches or the like 7, 7' and 8, 8' respectively in opposite outer roof portions 2 and outer walls respectively. By opening the hatches, the doors or the like 8 in one outer wall in the space 6 located below and the roof hatches 7 on the opposite side in the drying space 4, it is possible, by utilizing the wind, to create an air flow from below up through the grating floor 4' of the drying space 4, through the drying space and out into the open via the roof hatches 7 of the drying space. <IMAGE>
