Abstract

The device according to the invention is intended to suck up glycol, snow, ice and water or mixtures thereof from airport parking bays following deicing. The suction nozzle has a lower opening 1 which is broad and narrow and is intended to be guided across the ground to be cleaned and an upper opening 2 for connection to a suction hose which leads to a suction device (not shown) comprising fans, motors, separation members, etc. The nozzle has an inner wall 3 and an outer wall 4, between which, in a space 5, heated water circulates. This water is expediently heated to 70 DEGREE C, which results in stable heating of the nozzle. The energy for the heated water can be drawn, for example, from an oil heater. <IMAGE>
