Abstract
Control apparatus controls gas flow in a pressure change adsorption plant having a group of individual adsorbers (1, 2, 3) used for the adsorptive separation of gas mixtures and preferably for obtaining oxygen or nitrogen from air. Two valve blocks (4, 5) are associated with the gas inlet side and at the gas outlet side and the valve blocks are connected via adsorber gas lines (6-11) with the adsorbers. In both the valve blocks a series of diaphragm absorber valves are disposed in the adsorber gas lines. Control valves (20-22) open and close the adsorber valves in selected groups so that the adsorber valves in both the valve blocks which make possible an adsorption process in one adsorber, a desorption process in another adsorber and possibly a scavenging and/or repressurization operation in another adsorber are all actuated by one common control valve. <IMAGE>
