Abstract

Packaging machines for the production of packaging containers for pumpable foodstuffs make use of a pump arrangement which, via a filling valve assembly, portions out predetermined volumes into the individual packaging containers. A filling valve assembly 1 which is very suitable for foodstuffs has, according to the invention, a product valve 5, which is fed directly from the pump arrangement, and also, connected directly to the valve, a filling pipe 9 with an outlet valve 10 which is operated via an operating rod 13 extending through the product valve 5. The assembly is suitable for use in modern filling machines with high washability and space-saving requirements. <IMAGE>
