Abstract
In a method and an installation to remove at least one element from a more solid material by means of a liquid, the material is arranged in a layer (2) having a considerable vertical extend in a chamber (1), in which there is arranged at least one well (3) having a liquid permeable construction in the area of or below a lower part of the material layer. The liquid is supplied to the material in the layer (2) at a level above at least a part of the layer to cause the liquid to move through the material and thereby bring with it said element. Liquid entering the well (3) after having moved downwardly through the material is transported to a separation device in order to separate the element from the liquid.
