A forced-entry guard for doors and windows (13), comprising a tubular profile (19) which is angular in section and can be mounted along at least one of the frame sides (10), adjacent the gap between the frame and the door-leaf or the window-frame (12). The tubular profile (19) houses stiffening means (22) and in a nonvisible way one end of a number of screw means (20) which are intended for said mounting of said profile.
