Abstract

The subject of this invention is a ground based floor construction, which has a porous ventilation layer (1) against a ground surface, specifically intended for ventilating radon gas and that is connected to the open air around the building, it is comprised of at least one heat insulating layer (2, 3) on top of the ventilation layer (1) and a layer of concrete (4) put over the heat insulating layer/layers (2, 3). In order to achieve a simply and easily produced heat saving radon gas ventilation method, the ventilation layer (1) is a sheet made out of porous foamed plastic which is made out of inexpensive polystyrene.<IMAGE>
