Abstract

In a ''Bucky'' or ''Potter box'' for X-ray cassettes (4) or some other form of receiver of X-ray or like radiation there is used a holder or ''Potter spade'' which is movable between a cassette-changing position and an exposure position. For the purpose of holding the cassette in place, there is provided an abutment device (10) which is carried on one end of a sprung and pivotal arm (11) in the ''Potter box'' or frame part (3). The abutment device (10) will ensure that the cassette is held firmly in place, even upon arrival at the cassette-change position subsequent to exposure of the film.
