Abstract

In order to provide a device which belongs to a first beam (cloth beam) incorporated in a weaving machine, this first beam (5) being mounted at its ends and being in toothed engagement at least at one of its ends with at least one adjacent beam (3), and which avoids the disadvantages of known devices, it is proposed that each end bearing comprise two bearing parts different from one another, the first bearing part (8a-8e) being mounted rotatably in the weaving machine, and the second bearing part being provided with a rotationally fixed part (9a) and with a rotatable part (9b) supporting the beam (5), that the bearing part (8a-8e) be provided with teeth at least on one of the end bearings, and that an axle bar (10) or a second bearing part (9a-9b) bring about the transmission of articulated movements between the first bearing part (8a-8e) and the beam (5) by means of curved-tooth couplings (22, 26), in order to be inclinable in the longitudinal direction (23) of the first beam (5), the beam (5) being extractable from the second beams (3, 4), with a continuous toothed engagement between the first and second beams being maintained (Figure 2). <IMAGE>
