Abstract

A label which has different shrinkage characteristics, on cooling, from those of the thermoplastic item, is introduced into the tool. Side moves towards side to form the moulding cavity in which the item is mouled. The item is moulded convexly and matches the convex shape of the label to which it is bonded.
