Abstract

The invention relates to a weed-killing device, having a skimmer which is configured as an envelope 3 or band connected to an electric voltage source, which envelope or band contains fibrous material and liquid weed preparation containing an ionizing salt solution. The skimmer is drawn perpendicular to its longitudinal direction over the weed 11 to be treated and a current- conducting bar 10 connected to the electric voltage source is guided in connection with the skimmer and sufficiently close thereto that weed preparations are conducted from the ionizing salt solution of the skimmer into the stems of the weed 11 so that the weed dies. <IMAGE>
