Abstract

The boiler is equipped with a feed-in aperture for fuel (1), a hearth (3), a grid, and a smoke gas outlet duct (5). The grid has a movable soot removal component (6) which prevents soot from burning on to the grid. This component comprises penetrating plates which loosen the soot.
