Abstract
A cathode for electrolytic cleaning of metals is claimed. A plate of for example, of stainless steel or titanium is welded to a supporting beam of the same material. The upper surface of the beam is explosively welded to a copper bar in such a way as to provide a good electrical contact between the metals. The copper is exposed on the undersides of the beam ends.
