Abstract
The radar system includes an antenna system and active modules for transmission and reception which are distributed on the surface of the antenna. An active module is associated with several radiating elements through a power splitter circuit. A transmitter includes a pulse generator for a signal with required characteristics. The pulses are interrupted at a cutting frequency. This provides time slots which are allocated for reception. A receiver includes an interrupter which is dependent upon the recurring impulses and the cutting frequency. A reception detector includes a correlator for the cut pulses.
