Abstract
For wireless information transmission by means of electromagnetic waves at an extremely low frequency, it is proposed to produce a periodically alternating ring current on a horizontal, large-mesh conductor loop. The already existing high-voltage supply network of the Federal Railway system is advantageously used to form the conductor loop, in that a plurality of balanced high-voltage lines, which connect the substations of the railway, are combined to form a ring and have an unbalanced ring current applied to them.
