Abstract

The pump station consists of an upper accessible service chamber, and a lower collection chamber for esp. sewage. The lower chamber contains pumps, each connected to via back pressure and/or sealing valves to an outlet pipe. Each pump together with a back pressure valve forms a unit which is moved up and down via guides, between two positions. - In an operating position, the unit is connected to the lower chamber via a removable connection to the socket of an intermediate section, which in turn is connected to the outlet pipe. In a second position, the pump unit is located in the upper chamber.
