Abstract

In the second layer (12) of the napkin material the super absorbent is mixed with the cellulose fluff in limited localities (11,12) wholly surrounded by cellulose fluff, and with a large part of the fluff concentrated around the end parts of these localities. The first (10) and second layers are limited on their sides by tissue material (15,16;13,14), the first layer being in contact with the body of the user. The amount of super absorbent (11) used is pref. between 1 and 5 per napkin, and the locality in which it is mixed has a length in the napkin longitudinal direction which exceeds the locality width. The layer in which the super absorbent is mixed is arranged against a plastics material (17). In turn the plastics material is fixed to a non-woven material (18) to enclose the first and second layers.
