Abstract

In a top for a sanitary shut-off valve, which top has, in a housing, a fixed control disc and a control disc which can be rotated relative to the first control disc, is a lubricant pump which is connected for its drive to the valve spindle. The lubricant pump forces a fluid lubricant through a system of passages and into the gap between the two control discs.
