Abstract

The plant works on the basis of fuel consumption in a fluidised bed (7) in a pressurised bed vessel (2). Removal of bed material from the vessel is by an adjustable outlet (30) working with a crusher (40,42) which reduces lumps of slag formed amongst the bed material over a predetermined size. The feed-out and crusher are located between the bed vessel (2) and a pneumatic transport system (46, 50, 48).
