Abstract

The protection for growing plants against attack by insects and caterpillars comprises a light cylindrical shaped casing (2) which encloses the plant. Its upper part is closed at a specific point (6') so that between the closed positions apertures or open channels are formed. These channels are of such dimensions that insects and caterpillars are prevented from entering the casing, whilst the top of the plant can emerge as it grows.
