Abstract
The machine presses controlled amts. of food matter such as meat into a form. The meat in container 4 is transported by feed screws 6 to the cylinder 21, 22. When the cylinder is full, the hydraulic piston 13 forces the meat through the aperture 14 into the form 17. The assembly consisting of the container 4, feed screws 6 and cylinder front end 22 may be lifted clear of the base 5 by rotating about support 19. This facilitates cleaning.
