Abstract

The device produces bacteria-free fluid, for example, to wash wounds. Fluid enters the fibre-filled filter via a pipe and pressure valve. The filtered water leaves via an outlet and a tap. The remaining fluid leaves via an outlet across an airgap and into the drain pipe. To rinse the equipment, the second outlet pipe is again attached to an arm, and fluid is pumped through a pipe into the outlet pipe and to the drain.
