Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for utilizing low-temperature flue gas heat generated in firing for heat transmission to a heating network. According to the invention, this is effected by, in combination, raising the condensation temperature of the flue gas to a level which can be used for direct heat output to said heating network by moistening the combustion air, and cooling the waste gases while condensing these in connection with heat exchange to the heating network in question in a first stage. After heat transfer to the heating network, use is made in a second stage of remaining heat recovered from the flue gases for heat transfer to the combustion air in connection with moistening of the same. <IMAGE>
