Abstract

The absorber takes the form of at least one plate with channels for a heat carrier and located in an insulated tray-shaped casing closed by a transparent cover plate (12). Between the cover plate and the absorber is at least one convection barrier. The cover plate (12) is divided into sections, the end joint edges of which facing each other are supported by window-type bars (26) supported against the base of the casing. The absorber extends in an unjointed manner through the whole solar unit.
