Abstract

The somatomedin-binding protein is joined to a carbohydrate gel.. The chosen medium e.g. plasma is brought into contact with that prepared gel. The somatomedin is freed or eluated from the gel and used. - Pref. the protein is prod. combined with the gel covalently. It is put in a column through which the plasma is passed. Elution is brought about by reducing the pH.
