Abstract

Adjustable stops (14) are provided to fix the rear side of the package w.r.t. the timber feed direction. The stops are so arranged that, with packages of differing width (m1), the distance between the front side of the package and the timber stack departure level (12) from the collecting conveyor remains constant, even when the width of the package differs.
