Abstract

A supplementary unit (6) is provided, consisting of fixed fittings (7a) for connection to the forks of a scoop (5a). An upwardly pivotable part (12) carries a motor (24) driven by the tractor hydraulic system, together with a rotatable spreading roller (18,19) driven by the motor. The roller is connected in the usage position, to the lower part of the scoop forwardly open part (4). The speed of the motor is regulated stagelessly by a mechanism (26) operated from thedriver position, and a scraper (17) works in conjunction with the spreader roller. The supplementary unit lower part can be pivoted upwards from its effective position to one where it is inactive, in which the scoop can be filled with fresh material, using a hydraulic cylinder unit (29-30). It is fitted to the scoop forks by means of two bolts (8a).
