Abstract

The invention is a closed impeller and a method for producing it. The impeller is made of two sealing discs (6,3) and two vanes (7) between these divided around the girth. The impeller's first sealing disc is composed of a number of identical sections (2) welded-together, each of which features a vane (7) apart from the sealing disc. The impeller's second sealing disc is comprised of an essentially whole and level disc (3), which is welded together with each section's free vane edge. To facilitate the welding of last welded section's last-named vane edge with the whole disc (3), the whole disc (3) features a curved column that has the same contour as the section's free vane edges and the same position relative to the composed disc as one of the vane edges, whereby welding is carried out using a welding tool positioned on the whole sealing disc from the composed sealing disc's turned side.<IMAGE>
