Abstract

Container for fluids is formed from folding side panels which can be erected to produce a tube pref. with a square cross-section. The ends of the tube are closed by hinged triangular panels which are attached to adjacent side panels. The folding allows the container to be compressed flat or to be erected into an expanded, liq. tight condition. Pref. the container panels are amade from a polyolefin connected by integral hinges to adjacent panels. Pref. the erected syringe has rectangular side panels and triangular end panels. Pref. it carries a connector at one end for attachment of the needle, and a filling arrangement at the other. The container is pref. made from two parts each comprising a pair of side panels and triangular end panels which are interconnected. Each end is formed from eight triangular subpanels which, when erected form the end walls and axially extending projections. In an embodiment a pair of ears are attached to the syringe to facilitate its discharge.
