Abstract

The invention relates to a rail-vehicle bogie. It comprises two chassis side members 12, 14 resting by their ends on mounted axles 16, 18, on which shoe brakes 34, 36, 38, 40 and disc brakes 42, 44, 46, 48 act in an opposed manner, so that the braking forces exerted on each of the mounted axles are equal and opposite, and so that the reaction forces thereby generated in the side members of the chassis are reduced.
