Abstract

The invention relates to a terminal element for the screwless connection of electrical conductors in electrical installation apparatuses, especially plug sockets. The invention creates a terminal element, which is favourable in terms of production engineering, for the screwless connection of electrical conductors, which terminal element can be mounted without problems, and in a manner which is suitable for automatic machines, on pole sockets and the earthing bracket of a plug socket, by means of a snapping effect. The essence of the invention is that the terminal element is bent out of a piece of spring material as a housing formed spring such that, on the one hand, it has an integrated V-shaped terminal spring limb for firmly clamping and releasing the electrical conductor and, on the other hand, can be snapped onto the pole socket and the earthing bracket in conjunction therewith and by means of side walls which are bent and spring out. The electrical conductors are released via specially constructed releasing devices, which can likewise be snapped on to the terminal element.
