Abstract

The hinge incorporates two bushes (18,20) tensioned one against the other by an O-ring (38), and all the hinge parts (28, 30, 42, 38, 18, 20) are mounted on a shaft (50). The bushes have their facing surfaces formed with ridges and depressions (22) which engage each other. - One of the bushes is non-rotatably but axially movably located in one console (28), and the other is likewise located in a fixed part (42). By rotation of the bushes relative to one another around the shaft, the hatch or door can be pivoted between positions defined by the engagement between the ridges and depressions.
