Abstract

This invention is a lock plunger, preferably designed to be part of an addition onto an existing door or gate lock. In the first position of a rotationally mounted primary arm (10) the lock plunger is designed to lock a plunger belonging to the lock in a position locking the gate or door while in the second position it is designed to release the lock plunger to shift from the locked to the open position by allowing an axle rotation. The free end (13a) of the rotationally mounted secondary arm (13) interacts with the free end of the primary arm (10) at a right or essentially right angle, while an electric magnet or similar unit is positioned to shift the primary arm (10) out of its connection with the secondary arm (13) in order to release the axle rotation. Opposing parts for the primary arm's free end (10a) and the secondary arm's free end (13a) interact via a unit (20) in such a way that when the primary arm's (10) free end, under brief pull of the magnet, is shifted from a locking position, it stops in an open, unlocked position.The unit (20) features a part (21, 23) connected to one arm (10) and arranged to extend a piece on and along a longitudinal axle for the secondary arm (13). Another part (24) of this unit (20) is made up of a hook component (24) beside the first part's free ends.<IMAGE>
