Abstract

To utilise solar energy to heat a building, a porous translucent ceiling (4) is placed beneath a transparent roof (2) to form a space (5) within which the air is heated. A forced ventilation system (3) provides pressure above atmospheric in the space so that the warm air is forced through the ceiling into the interior of the building below it. <IMAGE>
