Abstract

The invention refers to a sweeping machine of the type which includes a hand-manoeuvrable cart (1) by means of a manoeuvring arm (28) with at least one pair of rear wheels (3, 4) and at least one front wheel (5, 47) as well as a motor-driven brush roller (14). The adjustable manoeuvring arm can be fixed in at least three vertical positions of which one overlaps in a perpendicular vertical plane with the brush roller and both of the other vertical planes form angles toward this plane, a locking device (40, 41, 42, 43) is arranged for optional fixation of the manoeuvring arm in the above named positions, so that the manoeuvring arm after release from the above named locking device is articulated in relation to the cart and relative to its front lever arm toward the horizontal axis of rotation perpendicular to the other axis of rotation (29), and that the device (32, 33, 34, 38, 39) is set up for transmission of the turning motion to the pair of rear wheels, so that the rear wheels in pairs can be positioned diagonally or straight in relation to the brush roller for diagonal sweeping or respectively normal sweeping.<IMAGE>
