Abstract

During a procedure for the transportation of fibre mass from a pulping unit (2), a closed conducting system (2, 6, 7, 13) is used for the transportation of the vapour. The vapour produced in the pulping unit is conducted in contra-flow to a feed belt (5) which feeds the raw shreds from a pre-heater (3). The vapour pressure in the pre-heater is constant whereby the grinding discs can be engaged at various pressures.<IMAGE>
