Abstract

A light signalling device which is suitable as a traffic signalling device contains a light source, consisting of a plurality of LEDs (10), and means (11, 12, 13) for feeding the aforesaid LEDs (10) with pulses. In order to improve considerably the capacity of the device to attract attention without the light emitted by the LEDs being perceived by an observer as flashing strongly, the LEDs (10) are fed with a series of feed pulses with a pulse repetition rate of approximately 15 to approximately 35 Hz, preferably approximately 20 to approximately 30 Hz. <IMAGE> ]
