Abstract

The clamping strip for a cable consists of a C-rail (2) for mounting on a base (1) and of mounting elements (3) for mounting on the C-rail, each of which, for its part, consists of retaining parts (4) which can be expanded in a sprung manner and are located in the C-rail, of a supporting part (5) which is located outside the C-rail, and of a wedge-shaped clamping element (6) which can be clamped in between the retaining parts such that the retaining parts and the supporting part are held together in a clamping manner on the limbs (7) of the C-rail, the cable (8) being inserted between adjacent supporting parts. The clamping element (6) consists of an elongated nail which passes through the supporting part and can be knocked in between the retaining parts (4). The disadvantage of known clamping strips that they must be mounted on the C-rail using a screw driver is in consequence avoided (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
