Abstract

Inspection well for a water supply and sewerage system. The well comprises a bottom part 1 and, arranged rotatably on the latter, an attachment part 2. A number of discharge lines are connected to the well. One line represents the main line 7 and is connected to a channel 5 which is provided with an opening 6 at the top and passes through the bottom part 1 of the well, while the other line or lines 3 open into the wall 2 of the well above the channel 5 and at a slight distance laterally from the opening. The bottom part 1 is designed with convexly curved walls 8 extending from its edge 4 on the well wall 2 in towards the channel 5. These curved walls 8 converge inwards, surround the entire opening 6 in the channel 5 and are designed in such a way that discharge water flowing to the well from the other lines 3 opening into the well is guided down into the channel 5. <IMAGE>
