The invention refers to a device for the indication of the coefficient of fullness of core barrels during rock drilling using drilling equipment with a rotary motor, which hangs in the drill hole under ground level, in a tube-shaped carrier device, and where the driving medium to the rotary motor is brought from ground level via the carrier device, at which the device is composed of a drill wire connected into a feeder cylinder (6) with an axial hole going through (18), through which a feed piston (15) under the influence of the pressure medium brought through the hole, is movable between an upper (17) and a lower level (18), with the feed piston's stroke length the same as the core barrel or that the core barrel is alike with the integer multiple of the length of the piston stroke, as well as that the cylinder shows a hole (20) in the cylinder wall (19) located at a distance over the said lower level (18) somewhat exceeding the length of the piston, at which as an indication of the core barrel's coefficient of fullness the decrease in pressure in the pump media is used, this decrease is the result of the piston reaching its lower level (18).<IMAGE>
