Abstract

Hose clamp in particular for infusion and transfusions devices. The hose clamp comprises a clamp housing (11) through which the hose (16) extends itself, as well as an axially movable clamp dievice in the clamp housing, e.g. a roller (12) designed to compress the tube against a clamp surface. In order to reduce the stress on the tube material during compression and retain a sufficient adjustment of the drop speed, which shall not be changed with time, the clamp housing presents (11) a track (15) in which the tube (16) rests. At the entrance to the track house, the track has a width and depth which essentially corresponds to the cross-sectional measurement in an unloaded condition and toward the outlet end presents a reducing depth and increasing width corresponding to the tube's cross-sectional measurement in a successively compressed condition. In connection to the track's (15) upper corner support surfaces are set up (17) against which the roll (12) runs.<IMAGE>
