Abstract

Mechanism on a piston-cylinder device which has its one and/or other cylinder-gable threaded onto the cylinder and a tightening material arranged as a moisture barrier between the cylinder and its gable and for locking out the latter in relation to the cylinder. In order to enable secure locking of the cylinder-gable relative to its cylinder which is additionally simple to unfasten for loosening of the cylinder and just as simple to reconnect, a locking ring is firmly fused on the cylinder (1) in a predetermined position inside of the cylinder's screw thread (9) formed partly with one above named screw thread against a certain radial projected part (5), which at the mounting of the cylinder-gable forms a stop which mainly determines the cylinder-gable's state, in a predetermined position on the cylinder, partly with foldable lock-tongues (6) which at a determined position on the cylinder-gable mounted on the cylinder are weighted in correspondence with the cylinder-gable's closest locking ring (3) located at the end of the shaped lock-track (13) for locking of the cylinder-gable against motion in relation to the cylinder (1) on which the tightening material arranged as a moisture barrier (17) is located in connection to the locking ring (3) and between this and the cylinder's screw-thread (9).<IMAGE>
