Abstract

An electrical connector comprises a lead 1, 2, 36, with at least two conductors 7, 8, 9, 10 and an insulating casing 5, 6 surrounding the conductors, and a connector 3, 4 for making electrical connection to the said conductors. The conductors each consist of an electrically conductive layer. The casing has first attachment devices 13, 14, 15, 16 for attaching the said lead in a predetermined position, and the said connectors have electrically conductive pins for inserting through the casing and into the intended conductor, with the pin that is to be inserted through a conductive layer and electrically connected to a subsequent conductive layer being provided with insulation against the layer it passes through. In addition, the connector is provided with second connecting devices 21, 22 23, 24 for connecting the said pins to predetermined conductive layers in the said lead. <IMAGE>
