Abstract

The measuring elements 25-30, 35 of the apparatus are located in a branch duct 2 in parallel with the main pipe 1. The adjustment valve 11 is situated in the main pipe 1. The measuring elements comprise a piston 26 driven by the circulating liquid which can move within the duct 25 against the force of a spring 28, it being possible to read the position 35 of the piston through a window 27 provided with a graduated scale. The branch duct 2 can be isolated from the main pipe by means of stop valves 8. The stop valves 8 are opened during adjustment of the flowrate by the valve 11 and closed thereafter. The branch duct 2 can be opened axially 36, 37 for cleaning purposes. The measuring elements 25-30, 35 can be retained for different main pipes 1, the tube segment 30 which serves as an indicator is replaced by another tube segment with another graduated scale. <IMAGE>
