Abstract

The invention provides an actuating system with electrical drive for a fluid-type stem valve (10) with an axially movable valve part (11) which is connected to an actuating connection (13); there is a pair of drums (15, 16) at a distance from one another which rotate synchronously in mutually opposite directions. A tongue (21) is connected to the actuating part and extends between the drums, being connected to the latter via flexible parts (23, 24) which extend around the drums in mutually opposite directions. When the drums are rotated, one or the other of the flexible parts exerts a tension force on the tongue so that an axial movement of the valve part is produced.
