Abstract

An optical line scanning instrument that has an especially simple mechanical construction, and where each part of the optical and movable arrangements can be adjusted separately before installation and be individually replaced due to the fact that the casing has a long, predominantly cylindrical, shaped cavity (32) provided with a through opening (35, 55, 56) that is transparent for the radiation to be scanned and located approximately in the middle of the cavity.
