Abstract

The machine has a wheeled chassis containing a shaft which is open at top and bottom. The chassis contains blades (13) disposed on a rotary spindle (10) and extended away from it by centrifugal force so as to cut away the silage underneath. The latter is projected against a wall (30) of the shaft and out through the top opening (8) of the shaft.
